- Dr. Pratima Joshi worked as a lecture in chemistry, Mithibai College, Mumbai in degree college.
- In 1986, she joined as a Research Fellow in Analytical Chemistry Dept., Hindustan Lever Ltd. Research Center, Mumbai.
- Since 1991 onwards she delivered lectures on Moral Value Based Education, personality development, Yoga, Meditation, spiritual awakening in various educational institutes, conducted number of workshops for teachers, students, professors, lawyers, Magistrates, scientists – thus imparted knowledge to innumerable people coming from different walks of life.
- From year 2000 to 2012, she has worked as a Director for Himgiri Spiritual Research & Training Institute of Philosophy (Ph.D Research in Philosophy) Recognised by Uni. of Pune working on the Principal of Gurukul System.
- In 2016, HRD Ministry of India has appointed her as content writer for module on The concept of Guru Shishya in Indian Educational Tradition. for e-pg. Pathshala Programme for National & International post graduate students of philosophy.
